Zinc and the environment
Zinc and titanium zinc are non-toxic and are basically an environmentally friendly product. Zinc is a natural part of the earth's crust and part of our environment found in rocks, soil, air, water and the biosphere. Zinc plays an important role in the biological processes of all humans, animals and plants. One of its most important properties is the ability to protect steel against corrosion, no other material can provide such good protection for steel. Zinc can also be recycled indefinitely without loss of properties and quality. The recycling rate of ac steel products that contain zinc is about 80%. Thanks to its durability and recycling rate, it has positioned itself as a good material choice for a sustainable society.
Our factories
We are proud of our certified factories that are based in Sweden. We are constantly aiming to become as environmental friendly as possible and some examples on how are: we only use recyclable packaging, we are minimising the use of plastic, one of our factories is using solar panels generating energy powering production. Integrated in the same factory is a circular air condensation system so all residual heat is transferred back to the production process. This allows for the residual heat to be transferred back into the production process. This means great energy efficiency that makes the most out of the invested resources. All materials are 100% vegan.
